Privacy Policy

BusBell SG is built to provide a focused transit utility without building a profile about you.

What stays on your device

Reminders stay on your device, including the selected stop, bus service, reminder time and enabled state. BusBell SG does not provide an account or upload your saved reminder list.

Location and nearby stops

Location access is optional and starts only after you tap the location control and approve the system permission. Precise map-centre coordinates are processed transiently by the BusBell SG API to return nearby stops and are not retained. Server access logs omit IP addresses and query strings.

Maps and arrival data

Map tiles are proxied from OpenStreetMap through the BusBell SG API. Nearby stops and live arrival estimates are obtained from LTA DataMall. These requests are used to provide the feature you requested, not to profile you. Service providers are required to handle request data only for that purpose and with the same or equivalent privacy protection.

Accounts, advertising and tracking

No account is required. BusBell SG has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It does not sell personal information or combine your activity with data from other companies.

Notifications

Notification permission is requested only when you choose to enable a reminder. You can revoke location or notification access at any time in iOS Settings, and you can delete saved reminders in the app. Because request data is discarded after the live response and reminders stay on-device, BusBell SG has no server-side personal profile or reminder record to delete.
